She became well-known for playing the role of teenage candy-counter girl at the Tipton Hotel in the hit comedy series ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’. This was also her first major break in the television. The actress also won the best actress award for The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
But soon the actress got lucky when she was selected by Disney Channel where they cast her in their original movie, High School Musical. Since then she has been a part of High School Musical movies, third of which was released last year. The actress has been singing, acting and dancing in all the High School Musical movies. But she says that she does not know much of dancing, but really enjoys singing and acting. In a recent interview the actress said that she really enjoys her work and loves being a part of show biz. She loves parties and enjoys music. Ashley said that while she is at home she loves listening to eighties music. Besides that, the other artists that she likes listening to are Michael Buble, Billy Joel, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
When Ashley was asked about her views on paparazzi, she said that they are really annoying. “They camp outside my house, which is really upsetting. Even if I just pop out for a coffee, they will follow me.” But all I have to say is that this is the price that one has to pay for being a star.
But the actress is doing really great and I love watching her, whether is on High School Musical or The Suite Life of Zack and Cody Tv Show . But as for now I am really looking forward to her second album, which she is currently working on and also the movie ‘They Came from Upstairs’, in which she is starring, which is set to release on July 31, 2009. I just hope that she will be liked in her this role too, just like in her previous works.
